And for just $17k...

:horn: Not even a Limited (mm4wd, heated mirrors, climate control) If the body is perfect, maybe 8K.

FWIW, I've watched a few stock Sport/Highlanders get bid up to over $12k on eBay the past few months. Granted, there are plenty that don't get that high at all... but usually higher mileage.

While, I disagree that IJM is the best color... I will concede that is 2nd best to black. :)

Also, here's a (currently) more reasonable priced lower mileage, clean '02 Sport:
2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 | eBay

This one I watched hit over $12k a couple months ago and not meet reserve, but most recently it only made it up to just over $9k. I'm surprised it's still not sold... you'd think a couple months they'd lower the reserve.

$17k is a crazy price. There's a lifted non-sport edition on eBay with $17k BIN obo as well.... insane! I wish mine was clean with lower miles if I could get those kinda prices!

That truck has been on eBay three times that I've seen. Each time it bids up to around $10,000 and doesn't meet reserve. I sent the guy a message back when I was looking for one asking what his reserve was and he never got back with me.

If you want 5-speed, then no Limited for you. That was an easy trade-off for me. And I hate auto climate control as much as I hate auto transmissions.

The auto and the amenities personally serve me well here in Colorado. I run 6/10 rated trails with no problems and the auto works better at slow crawling in stock form with no stalling at idle in 1st. I have the FJ40 for harder core stuff anyways. To each his own.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the first time I saw it was back in August.

Wow, this makes me think I should sell my 4Runner while the market is apparently hot. Just turned 117k miles.

This car lot always have overpriced stuff but all their vehicles are very nice. No way I'd pay 17k for that. Some dumbass will buy it though.

Indeed they will. My buddy just sold a 100% stock 01 Limited with 160k for $12,000. It was in good condition, but nowhere NEAR mint. Took a month or so to sell, but sell it did.

If I were going to list my 4Runner for sale I'd ask $17,500 for it and I would almost guarantee it would sell at that, or very near.

Your buddy's sold because it was priced at 12k. 17k is a big difference. NTM your rig has a little more work than that one. You have to find a person with cash. Hard to sell a vehicle that no one will give a loan for. I've watched rigs like this relisted over and over took they lower price. But dealers get luxury of holding on to the rig till they rip someone off.
