annoying squeek coming from rear seat

I have an annoying squeeky noise that is coming from my rear seats. The squeek happens when I go over bumps. It does not happen when the seats are occupied however. Has anyone experienced this?

Rear passenger's seat latch needs a piece of electrical tape wrapped around the D ring. There are several posts about this!

Had the same thing. If you do a search for "creaking" you will find many posts and a TSB. I took a 1700 mile road trip in my brand new 2006 sport and nothing even whispered from it, then I park it in the garage for about 3 days and drive it to the grocery store and it sounds like the passenger rear strut tower is about to come through the inside!

Try reseating the seat on the anchor or lubing the bar with tape or whatever. It should go away.

Take it to the dealer...there is a TSB for it. I got it done 2k miles ago and it has not squeaked in the slightest since. Can't believe they haven't formally addressed it yet in the 2006 model.

I have the same issue and tape is not helping any more.
TSB ???? By the chance, do you know it's number?

I'm noticing the same creak as well. I kept thinking it was some of my supplies in the rear storage hitting the plastic panels. :bash:
