Annual mileage

Bought mine with 400 miles on it in May of 2003, and I know have 135,000 on it. I'd have more if it was my daily driver, but I try and only drive it once or twice a week for work. The rest of the miles are on road trips to see family, or for dog games. Toyota is the only kind of vehicle that I can pay off before it breaks down. :rocker:

So, I guess it would be around 35K a year.
 
I'm pretty lucky. I work 6 miles from my house. I only drive about 7000 miles per year. My Runner should be good for a long time!
 
Bought in September of 05 and I have 20,487 miles. Most of the miles come from 400 plus mile road trips every month or so.

Zig, I was curious what problems and maintenace you have had.
 
Maintenance, besides SEVERAL oil changes and air filters, changed the dif/xfer to amsoil (which is almost due for another change), tranny flush, timing belt with water pump, all seals and idler pullies, new hoses, belts, and thermostate, seafoam, autoRx, spark plugs, brake pads (which really didn't need to be changed), and I'm getting ready to flush the brake lines. So basically just the things listed in the book.

As far as issues, AC went out due to a relay, and my AC controls are slowly going out button by button. I still have that clunk, and this is the only thing that really scares me as far as breaking down. I noticed just a small bit of oil burn on one spark plug, but not enough to worry about the engine.

I think that I'm going to have to change the shocks soon, but can't decide if I should lift at the same time. This thing is so much of a road driver, that I don't know if I want to lose any of its handling and comfort abilities for my few offroading adventures.

This is the first Toyota that I've had, and I am extremely happy with it so far. I don't bat an eye at traveling even with the high miles.

Oh, it's a V8 4x4 SR5.

I leased my '05 SR5 4x4 V6 in January of 2005, and just turned 20,000 miles last week. Of course, I am "limited" to 1,000 miles a month (36k in 36 months), so I pretty much use my 4Runner for a 'weekend' vehicle.

I love my 4Runner and treat it very well - synthetic oil and oil filter changes every 3k, whether it needs it or not.

My 2002 Nissan Sentra (paid off long ago) serves as my commuter car, and it is much, much better on fuel economy.

If my 4Runner were my only vehicle, it would get 20 to 22k per year on it. (I drive a lot!)

 
I bought mine in June '04. I'm currently at 28,000 miles. I live very close to work, and I also drive my Supra once a week. So, I guess that saves on mileage a bit. The 4R still feels like new 2.5 years later. I love this vehicle!
 
I bought mine new in September '05 and now have 25K. I have hauled a 5,000 lb boat around during the summers 3-times a week [gotta love that public safety schedule] and have never had a single problem doing so. I have pulled at least a dozen super macho 2wd trucks off the steep and wet docks with their beautiful 25+ foot boats in tow with a grin on my face and a thank you to Toyota engineers. Very impressed and I plan on driving the wheels off of mine.
 
I got mine on Aug 17 last year and I hit 10,500 last week! Good thing Im going to Africa for a year so she will be sitting in storage for a while.
 
Miles/yr

Bought my '06 SE in May '06 and I now have just shy of 7k miles. Should average out to around 8500/yr. Other than the clunk issue (which seems to be getting worse or I seem to be noticing it more) not one complaint. So glad I dumped by Chevy car for the T4R.
 
50,000 at two years. Runs like new. Outstanding tire wear, only routine maintenance, good mpg for the vehicle class, & one warranty claim. A real satisfied owner here notwithstanding dealer service.

Wow... 50k per year => that's called mileage. TOYOTA = QUALITY..
