quick question
Hi,
Great work and great write-up!
I have a 2013 limited and I removed the third seats. But I was not able to remove this trim piece that is in this picture. I know this piece has five clips and there are some guides on each end. I tried to pull upwards but it was really tight and I could lift the rear of the truck a little and it wouldn't let go!
Is there some trick? I removed everything else, the two metal pieces and the long metal piece, etc. Just this long plastic piece is really stubborn. Could you help?

Sorry its hard for me to visualize and remember the procedure. I don't recall having to trim that piece.
I did have to trim the piece on the right side next to the sub-woofer. It had a tab coming out that connected to the sea that needed to be removed. Nothing major
I had to trim the back plastic panel cause it also had tabs that connected to the seat. I only trimmed the tabs because i used them to connect to the storage instead.

Yes this piece is harder to pull out. But if i recall correctly its basically just those push locks clips. You just have to give it a yank, go slowly. If you do break them they are replaceable but i was able to remove the trim without breaking any of those so i reused them all.
If you search the forum you'll see lots of people doing a variation of this whether they have the 3rd row of seats of not. In my case i had the 3rd row of seats so my storage is different than most. I was not able to add drawers since i had the extended trend piece on the back hence why my storage required the lid.

I really like how factory this looks.
I especially like how you were able to keep the rear plastic piece (the pieces where you highlighted the tabs that you removed).
I would like to re-install these pieces so that it looks factory.

thanks but unfortunately that's basically all i have, had some issue with corrupted files.
