Another Back Window Issue

97 Limited...

A few weeks back my rear window wouldn't go down. I kept holding the button it evently went down about 6" but then went back up automatically. Now the window won't go down at all.

The rear wiper isn't working BUT the defroster is.

Everything I have read (except that defroster is working) points to the window needing to be reset BUT I can't get the key or the button to work.

Any suggestions?!?!

Have you used the key to lower and raise the window? I had the same issue but my defrost worked fine. It was the electronic switch for the key on the back hatch. It malfunctioned when I last used the key in it so it kept telling the window to go up. I disconnected it and all is good.
