I've not seen anyone mention using the old Prestone flush n fill kit. I've got one out in the shed I bought a few years ago and never installed. I've put one of these flush kits on almost every vehicle I've owned, anybody put one on their Runner??

It's a kit you can buy at an Autozone Advance kinda place. It comes with a tee pipe that you cut a coolant line then install the tee which has a connection for a garden hose. Then run water into the tee that then flushes out the engine cooling system.
Most likely if you go somewhere to buy anti-freeze, you'll see one of these kits nearby.

Just did my this week using Prestone flush n fill kit, make sure you find the input heater core it's in the middle of the firewall. You can't miss it while I'm there I also flush the heater core hose as well.

Apparently I'm missing it?!?!

I have a 2001 and bought the kit yesterday with new coolant. Seems like it will make things much easier but none of the hoses I'm finding look like they'll fit the "T's" they've included?????

More of an explanation would be great and pictures are always helpful...thanks.
