Hello All,
Been checking out this site for a little while and was one of the reasons I chose a 4runner over an Xterra so I figured it was time to say hello. I picked up a 98 limited with an elocker and have been super busy doing all of the PM work that has been seriously neglected. Now, I would never have purposefully bought a new rig in the middle of winter steelhead season but as I flipped my Ranger (put me on a gravel road and I think I'm BJ Baldwin (I'm not)) I did not have much of a choice. Took me a few weeks to find a 4runner I wanted and now a couple weeks into the maintenance soon I'll be back chasing steel. Eventually, my goal is to make this an overlanding rig I'll be proud to hang my hat on but one step at a time...

I had an 05 Xterra offroad before my 4Runner. It was nice, had a road trip down to Folsom lake in Cali ( I'm still a off road newbie ) with a much more experienced off-roader with his sweet land cruiser and was very pleased how the X handled itself. But alas I totalled it and got the 97 4Runner shortly after and have loved the thing ever since not sad really to see the x go ( except that it was newer maybe lol )

P.S. I Can't seem to figure out the pic thing either.. So you are not alone
