Another Fuel guage problem

Ive read alot of what others peoples problems are with their gas guage problems. I just replaced the fuel sending unit this last week hoping it would fix it. I did the recalibration for the guage with it close to empty and it still show'd full on my guage. Now that i replaced it and have a full tank its clicking the light on that shows my tank is empty with my fuel guage well below the E mark. Sometimes it does show that its full but it always clicks on. Also with 60 or so miles the guage hasn't moved one bit. Has anyone else had this problem? What is there to do to fix it. Do i need to go in any replace the dash unit part? Anything you guys know will help.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a small short in the wiring. I took it apart and put it back together and its wroked fine since. I can almost guarantee you that its not a problem with the guage on the dash.

This thing is going to be a headache. You will need to test every connection, all the grounds, and the resistance of the sensor circuit. Its a PITA. Good luck.
