I am going to be installing my OBX headers soon I am going to have them coated before I do the installation. dose anyone know where I can get a good write up that someone has done on a 3rd gen? I have read Gadgets but i seem to remember seeing one from a guy in Houston Texas. possibly a member of T4R.org. any info would be great! I will be doing a full write up with pictures as soon as I get them installed probably 2 weeks give or take.;):

I searched but no luck on installation instructions but did find this on another board

" Header installation on the 3.4L is a PITA, and too big a hastle for noise factor if you ask me. If you have the patience, tools, strong mechanical ability, and can afford to be without your truck for a couple of days, the cost doesn't seem so unreasonable. I have heard of some shops familiar with toyotas actually turning business down when someone mentions "3.4L" & "Headers" in the same sentence."

they can't be that bad to install, of course i also spend my day working w/ nissans, so almost anything toyota seems easy after that!

No,they are a pain to install and even around here there's a few shops that won't do it since the labor takes a while and in the end it's not cost effective for the customer but if you can do it yourself that's the way to go.

I got the headers as a gift. I have seen the same set on e-bay for 275 or best offer. As far as the installation goes I have a friend who was a Toyota truck mechanic for about 25 years. he is retired now and has his own shop with lift and every tool you could think of; so if any one can help me with the installation he can. I am installing the headers now because I plan on getting the super charger in before the summer. Just bought new AFR and O2 sensor and Jardine exhaust from URD.
