Hey guys,
I am looking at a couple of good sized popup campers, a Coleman Utah and a Coleman Bayside Elite. Both have spec'd weights of about 2600 lbs, and add some gear on top of that, I am guessing a gross weight of about 3500 pounds. For reference, they both have a 12 foot box. I have a 2010 SR5. I don't plan on going much further than 300-400 miles with it (one way).
Does anyone have experience with a similar size popup camper? I tow our 17.5' Glastron Bowrider presently with little trouble, but that is only about 60 miles one way. I feel as though I could pull it where ever I wanted to though... and I am coming from towing it with a 5.7L Tundra, so I have a good point of reference.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
