I've done a search, but didn't get a whole lot of responses to my questions.
I've been looking at both OME and Toytec lifts. The toyotec looks nice but it's $250 more than the OME, I had the OME on my 1994 4Runner and loved the ride and off-road capability. I don't do rock crawling, i stick to mud holes and trails up the mountain. I do some rocks, but nothing I'd need to dual case or anything on. So i guess my question is what's best for what I do? I like a level looking ride, so the adjustability is nice. My truck will be getting a heavy front bumper and eventually a fab'ed rear bumper to match. The front bumper will go on with the lift so I'll be getting the HD front coils, and I have a significant amount of weight in the back so probably the HD or MED duty in the rear. Thoughts?
I don't need/want a huge lift, 3 inches is plenty enough. The 2 inches on my 2nd gen was good enough for me. But with this truck I'm looking at probably 3" lift and ~33's for tires. This is my DD so while being functional it has to be confortable. Sort of the reason I want to go with the OME because I liked their quality before.
So I'm between three options:
OME- I've had personal experience, it's stiff but flexible and I really liked the ride in my 2nd gen 4Runner.
Toytec Ultimate- Heard good things, and a lot of people have it on here.
Toytec Boss- Only go with this option for the superflex coils, is it worth it though?
