Actually, with a 3-D cell Maglite, I just lay it between the driver's seat and door. Has been fine there for more than 2 years. Easy to get to, never moves.

Actually, it's never happened despite slamming on the brakes multiple times. But thanks for the warning!Kmvreter said:...until you have to slam on the brakes. Had this happen a long time ago and learned my lesson. The magnetic flashlight held under the seat frame ended up jammed under the pedals in an accident. Just like if you forget your seatbelt, everything should be held down (somehow) in a moving vehicle or it is a potential projectile (remember stuff in the open cargo area.)
