Another Newbie

Howdy! I just traded in my Tacoma for an 06 4Runner. I love it! Just thought I'd drop a quick line to say hi.

Welcome to T4R.org. What year was your Tacoma?

Thanks! It was an 09 Tacoma. I put some work into it (lift, tires, bull bar/ lights, etc.) and I loved it too, but it was just too small (regular cab). I'm ready for my 4Runner! I won't do anything extreme with it, but a lift, tires, off-road lights, simple stuff will be coming in the future. Thnaks again for the welcome!

I see. I've got a '05 DC along side the '06. Both are great vehicles, but the 4Runner is less truck-like inside and more quieter.

I know what you mean by less truck-like inside. It's different, but I love it. I'm not sure how much the ride will change with a lift and AT tires.
