Another Noise!!! High Pitch while moving..

So, another new noise developed.

Sounds like the brake squeal you hear with worn brakes. BUT it does not go away when you brake. It's also a constant pitch and not engine speed dependent. BUT it goes away under 5MPH so I cant look for it at a stop.

I tried shifting and going to neutral etc. Seems to start when the car is warm.

Have a dealer appt tomorrow night, but its raining here (today and tomorrow) and I did not hear it on my ride in...

its a 2016 Limited with 31,000mi

Anyone have a clue?

Thanks!

Same here....very intermittent. 2016 LE with 45K. Stock

Here is what I can tell you with mine...
- Happens Occasionally
- Will occur for a few days and then gone for months.
- Typically above 35 MPH
- Notice it when the truck warms up
- Seems to happen days after heavy rains/driving through puddles
- Never heard it in the Winter
- Not engine or transmission dependent - will happen when coasting in N at 35
- Not brake dependent - doesn't change when brakes are depressed.
- Not ebrake dependent - doesn't change if ebrake is engaged.

What I've noticed from research
- Seems to be a LE problem.
- Not propshaft...plenty of greese
- Will change or go away momentarily when swerving the wheel back and fourth...ie loading the chassis.

That last one and the fact that i've only found others reporting this on LE makes me think it might have something to do with xreass?

Search magnetic ride control i've found nothing.

Please let us know what you and the dealer find out. I've had two cancelled appointments because it just quits on it's own...usually the day before I am scheduled to take it in.:ohwell:
