Creaks and squeaks - just 'old man' problems

Not sure if it's something with too many variables to try and figure out, but just thought I'd ask if anyone had has similar symptoms.
We moved out to AR this year and car ran ok during the summer/fall. It's a little colder here than in TX and once it got chilly I started noticing some creaking and squeaking noises. The creaking noise (can best describe like when you step on old wooden floors and get that low-ish pitch creak-noise) comes when I turn the wheel, either stopped or rolling, so I assume it is related to the steering components or the R&P? The other is a more of a squeak (like a dog toy or something) which I hear when rolling down a road that's not completely smooth/flat (roads around here are terrible) and sometimes getting in/out of the car.
I've tried to isolate and see if I can determine where the squeak is coming from and best (I think) is like the metal piece that looks like a dust shield on the front brakes? Doesn't make sense, I'm probably completely off the mark here but just curious if any one of yall have had similar noises? Hoping that come time it warms up the noises just go away, like old man's bones when the weather gets cold and you just don't want to move to do anything with those creaky/squeaky joints. haha.

I cant imagine the dust shield would make noise when you are getting in and out of car. I do think that you might have several things needing attention. Control arm bushings? Sway bar bushings?

in my experience the dust shield would be a constant noise when moving and easy enough to bend out of way

See if you can isolate by spraying WD-40 on linkages one at a time.

When was last time some/all the power steering fluid was swapped?

If a long time - just for grins use a turkey baster to suck out some at a time and replace - run a few seconds while turning wheel some and repeat a few times. Then wait till next cold morning and test. Luck and enjoy the Runner.

R&P was swapped out 2-3 years ago? Do they usually change ps fluid when replacing those? If they don’t they it hasn’t been done in a long time then. I assume there’s a small leak somewhere in that system tho since I’ll have to “top it” every couple months.

IÂ’ve attempted spraying wd-40 on the sway bar end links, r&p links, and the the bushings I can get to but so far no improvements. I did notice the UCA rubber boots are torn. Would that cause the sound assuming the grease has run out of them?
