another quick question

what is the blue wire mod?
i have been seeing that alot in peoples sigs...

I believe that is the same mod as the "gray wire mod"...some years had different color wires then others, some were blue and some were gray.

It lets you lock the optional factory installed locking rear differential in modes other than 4lo. As originailly wired it would only lock in 4lo.

Since we have the same year, model, 4wd, etc. it should be the gray wire. Its in a small wire harness to the left of where your left foot rests in the driver side. Here is an excellent writeup via Matt Starr...
