Another Quick Spark PLug Question

Gentlemen, with the coil side is there any positive "feel" to the coil on top of the spark plug? Mine seemed to just sort of drop right down the well? I didnt have to "push them down" I did have to engage a little force on the driver side boots to get them to seat all the way.

Any experience would help as none of the instructions specifically address this little component? And I didn't notice anything after how easy the passenger side was after struggling with the drivers side...

No, I really could not feel any engagement per se. I do use a dab of dielectric grease in the boot so it does not seize to the plug.

If no misfire is present, it must be doing its job.

i think there should be a very slight detent, its easy for the thin metal to loosen over time. if in doubt, just give it a light squeeze with some pliers to close it back up some. it drove me nuts not being able to feel anything from mine.
