Another Tundra Brake Swap Success Story

One of my calipers was starting to hang so it was time to step it up to the Tundra brakes.

To add to the plethora of information already out there, here's my part list:

eBay Tundra slotted rotors - $105 shipped

Toyota Tundra 01 02 03 04 05 06 Slotted Brake Rotor F: eBay Motors (item 310152922170 end time Aug-27-10 04:48:47 PDT)

Nastra loaded pair of calipers (199mm) from RockAuto - $186.24 (incl. core and shipping)

Total: $291.24

Stops pretty good, and shouldn't make nearly as much dust as the dragging caliper did.

What do you mean by "hang". I have noticed my truck wanting to pull left when I get on the brakes...is that what you mean? Is my right front caliber going bad? Truck is a '99 with 190K on it....the calipers must still be stock.

Could I get that part number from Rock Auto...it's a shopping nightmare! There are 20 different calipers listed for an '01 Tundra....and none of them appear to be 199mm.

Nope..you can but you need to got 16's or bigger
