antennas on 5th gen

I thought that was what we were talking about..the shark fin. I didn't know a 4Runner could have another antenna. Mine doesn't but what do I know?

5Gs from 2010-2013 had an AM/FM whip antenna on the passenger fender. This is what this thread was about.

From 2014 on, it was moved to the glass.

Yep, whacks the garage and every parking garage it goes in. Hate to just cut the top, the ball does something magical. I'll check into it this weekend.

This is just a thought but would wiring the am/fm antenna to the shark fin work??

I had a long antenna on my Wrangler.... it was helpful as a gauge to see if I would fit under overhangs and inside garages.

What about the wrench?

My owner's manual says that there is supposed to be a wrench for removing the antenna, for going off-road I suppose. My CPO 2012 Trail did not have one that I've found yet (7 years, almost)... I haven't really missed having it, but I just feel.... incomplete, since I know it's missing. (sad, really)

Did all the models come with said wrench?
