Wish it was that simple with this guy, it does with the teratory.

I am curious if your girls had to take medicine for Acide reflux, I think my little guy has that too, as I do. Is it long term if they have it as a baby or does it go away

We had to switch to the MOST EXPENSIVE formula- Similac Alimentum- (trust me we tried them all) and mix baby cereal with it to make it a paste-like consistency. The nipples on the bottles had to be slit open for them to get it out.

They both slept on a wedge that elevated their heads. Luckily for them and us(!) they both outgrew it.

I feel for ya- before we figured it out, I spent several very late nights at the local pharmacy looking for some miracle cure so they would stop crying and sleep!

Me- Nexium all the way!

About that daycare- It's actually super cheap for 2 kids (soon to be 3 and 5) and we are lucky to "only" pay that. Once they are both in real school I will feel like I am rich, but then again there will be 2 college tuitions, 2 cars, 2 weddings...I'm depressed.

Just to clarify- I'm not complaining!

I camped out in my back yard last night with my soon-to-be 5yr old (youngest wasn't feeling it), fire pit, tent and all. She woke up this morning looked at me and said "Daddy, that was super fun- I love you!" Try to buy a mod that can make you feel THAT good.

It's actually a lot of fun for me to try to come up with these cheapo mods. Let's see- so far I've got a shelf made from a bed, a $150 storage box, a cutting board fuse block, a tarp/canopy, a free(!) TE hood, plastidip custom wheels, and all kinds of cheap electrical trickery that challenges my brain. Only thing I really spent a lot of money on was the Gobi, and honestly I feel a little guilty for that sometimes.

You guys hit the nail on the head- as much as I love my 'Runner, it can't compare to my family. They are always first. Always.

Two girls here as well. The good news for those of you younger, they will always love dad, mom will take the brunt of the teenage business. You will become a referee and even more importantly a comforter. As I said before, try really hard not to let the small stuff bother you too much. My bride gets a little worked up over good grades, curfew, and stuff like that. The things I don't tolerate is boys too close, drinking, and tobacco, (do as I say, not as I do).... really and truly, focus on morals, stay in tune with your kids friends and always be involved in a church. Don't just drop the kids off, you have to go too to be sure the kid are learning what you want them to learn.

Messin' around with a can of Plastidip today.

I waited too long to pull the tape off and the edges ripped in a few places. I pulled it off already and left just the front of the scoop:

Any thoughts? I'm on the fence.

One thing I learned- it's possible to spray a large area with the rattlecan and get an even coat. For the final spray I held the can a little farther away and it left a nice even texture similar to the black plastic on our B-Pillars. Don't know if I'm gonna do it again...

I'd also suggest a lot of "white noise"......kids hear that for 9 months and then all of a sudden they are shot out of the same tunnel they were conceived through, heads resemble Dan Akroyd in Coneheads, covered in shmegma, attached via a cord to their belly button (ouch), exposed to lights that would blind a normal human, handed around from doctors to nurses like a football, then......coddled to the point where the cant move a muscle.....talk about shock.....

.....but white noise worked realy well with our 3 kids....

Actually I don't like either version but maybe if you did the entire hood?? I don't know how it would look but I do like it when it's done in vinyl. You could always peel it off again.

I don't care for the wide stripe. Just the scoop looks nice and doing the entire hood would probably look good as well.

The angle of the first pic looks mean. The other angles are not so good. I bet it looks real nice in person though. Overall, I like it.

I knew I forgot to do something. Wanted to go to D&L and get pricing on a matte black wrap for the hood. Going to try for this weekend to get a price.

Not lovin' the stripe. Makes the front look, um, busy? It's the matte, then the glossy surround around the Toyota logo, then back to the matte wing, and so on.

You could spray those 'license plate buttons' tho.

I'm thinking of doing just the scoop... To include the front and top.... I don't like that it will essentially look like one of those stick on scoops from auto zone but I have a new commute to/from work and that glare is killing me!
