I have most recently a RIA 1911a1 with minor feed ramp polish. I get something new every year because I am rough on them and they get loose. I have 2500 rounds through mines so far in almost 10 months and its starting to get loose between the upper and lower, but this is a familiar issue of mine after carrying any brand 1911 or wheeled pistol on the mountain and construction sites ddurring stooping and labor. Maybe go to open carry holster. IDK.
My RIA looks antiqued (major pitting and finish wear looks very 1900's-ish after a year of it riding muzzle down shotgun in my drawer next to my sweaty balls and pecker.

My CQBc is at Wilson right now being Armor Tuf'd beause I trashed the finish, a blue/CCH job had crossed my mind, tho.
It was looking pretty beat to shit when I sent it in.

[MENTION=92049]LandCruiser[/MENTION] Yes, the finish is by Turnbull. Color Case Hardened frame and Charcoal Blue slide and small parts. Turn around time was 6 weeks. Turnbull's finishing is absolutely flawless. Wilson AT will be much more durable for daily use.

Yeah, but it's a Wilson combat, so it was born without any slide markings.
You have to take off a lot of material to remove roll marks, Even for someone like Colt who does not make them very deep.

Had 2 Kimbers. TLE II Pro, hated it. Would eject cases directly rearward into my face and wasn't a fan of the takedown. Also had a Custom II. Loved everything about it (except it rode too high in a IWB holster), but foolishly traded it on a Springfield XD, and traded that one away a few weeks later.
