And we did the Dempster Highway. 4Runner had a very impressive perfomance on Dempster 1500km unpaved road.

By the way, maybe it's the "World's First" 5th-gen Toyota 4Runner crossed Arctic Circle?



PS: The Nitto Terra Grappler tires are pretty impressive too. We carried 2 spare wheels, after over 7700km, including 1800km unpaved road, none of the wheels failed. And they are quiet on highway as well.

It's not that cold in summer. The lowest temp we got is 1°C at the border of Yukon and North West Territories.

I am aware of that - I was stationed at CFB Penhold and CFB Cold Lake after that.

Yes, there was some minor rubbing issue even w/o spacer. It can be easily fixed by pushing wheel well backwards a little bit.

Make sure you can actually get into Canada before you get too far into planning the trip. One DUI from 1989 has made me "criminally inadmissible" and our governments share all that information now.
