I agree with you completely MikeInNH. I'm one of the lucky firefighters who is career and paid. It's a sad shame that such a needed service is left to volunteers. If you choose to serve others and risk your own life and safety to protect and help others, you should be compensated better than the slime ball politicians and corporate greed.
