This is mine
It's been in my family for maybe 10 years now. It's a 77 that my dad and sister originally started working on to be my sister's first vehicle, it was super nasty and rusted when they first got it. They did a full frame off and rebuilt the engine and everything on the truck. My sister lost interest right before it got done, and then when my dad finished it she concluded it wasn't what she wanted. I started driving it just since I thought it was sweet, and my dad just gave it to me eventually. I daily drove it for a couple years. You could say it's a resto-mod I guess. It's "pretty stock" but has an aluminum Aqualu body, the cage I made after I rolled it pretty bad a few years ago, and just a couple weeks ago I finished converting it to EFI. But otherwise it's all stock axles, engine, tranny, tcase, frame, etc.
I also found this one and snatched it for $600!
It was a 1969 with a stock 3 speed and someone had swapped a 350 into it that didn't have any compression. It was a lot worse than it looks, some parts were totally disintegrated like parts of the quarter panels. But other parts, like the hood, were nearly flawless and rust free. Kind of weird... I had ideas for it, but they never developed into anything. I gave it to my dad to part out since I didn't have anywhere to keep it, and even though it was a deal it would've been a huge project to fix or turn into a custom truck. My dad actually got almost $4k for the parts and still had the drivetrain laying around I think.
Anyways, I have the 77 sitting in front of me. It's just a weekend and get lunch cruiser now for the most part with some wheeling on occasion.
