any good recommendations for tire chains(mud use) that fit 33's?

Went hunting this weekend and the trails were extremely bad. I did make it through the main trails to get to camp but rode with a friend who had chains on to get through the rest of the trails. I needed to use 4L and on some areas use the rear locker just to safely get through some spots. Chains seemed to help my friend out quite a bit and I was wondering if there are any good recommended chains? I see many types online. Traditional chains, strap on types and some tensioned with plastic chains.

I will probably need to do a BMC and mudflap removal with 285/70/17's to clear the chains though. Things seemed much better for me with the rear locker, which makes me consider a front locker instead of chains as a possible option as well.

typically if you only have 2 chains, front would be first priority. if you have 4 then all 4 wheels.

I am guessing the reason is mostly due to clearance issues. I did see a few 2nd gen tacos out there with chains on the fronts.

Thank for bringing that up though, as I havent ever even thought about chains till now.

I don’t know how much more clearance tacos have over T4R’s, just know I’d read before and saw vids of not using chains on the front end due to clearance.

Z chains are low profile and easy on. Still might hit body mount point with no lift.
