Any help with these off a 2000 Tundra?

I saw these on C List... They were used as "leveling for a 2000 Tundra. The guy had a different set that added 2+ inches more than these, so he used those. He thinks these have less than 1000 miles on them. Take offs when he got the truck. He thought that these coils and shocks added 1.5 inches from stock. These are from a non TRD Tundra and not OEM! The price is right just wanting some input if you all have any!

I have done all the reading I can find about lifts...anyone seen these before?

I can't speak to those units themselves... but can say that a set of Stock TRD 4X4 struts will lift your 4RUnner a good 2.5". If you use the units you posted, they would most likely give your around 4" of lift in the front.... and that would be too much for the front axles to handle. You'll be blowing C.V's and flinging axle grease all over the place.

Good deal... but I don't think it's a good choice for our trucks.

Another "questionable" coil

Hey guys, I have combed threads and google for clarity on this. I pick up some front struts off a 2002 Tundra TRD access cab 4x4 from the junkyard (Had them mailed, so never saw them before they arrive).

The coils are silverish (no color codes) and they have some sort of spacer on top, not inside the coilpack. But as I said, supposedly off an '02 Tundra TRD. Shocks are faded but have the blue/yellow bill coloration.

I am new to the 4x4 crowd and super stoked about the LC coils and shocks on the way.

Any help with what these are?!?! PLEASE!

Always have the return trip to another yard in my back pocket. Thanks for any and all help!

[MENTION=94541]JT4x4[/MENTION]: Those are Downey coilovers. They're no longer in business. Essentially it was the same thing as a Toytec coilover.

Hey thanks man! Helps at least on that front. Since they are out of business, I can't find the spring rating anywhere. I am guessing it is not a progressive spring, and will be much stiffer than the stock TRD. But I don't really know. I email guys at Toytec, just to see if they had any answers.

Anyone ever run this coilover on 3rd gen TR4? (No armor or front bumper currently).
