I dont have any pics of mine but its standard Trail with no mods.... the colour has grown on me quite a lot...it looks classy and different in different lights and shades

that's a pretty nice little review.
bet the multi-terrain select wouldn't have been necessary on that ice/snow if the rig had a set of decent tires.

Great looking TE! Are those the factory running boards? It looks like the ones I saw on a trip to Canada. It doesn't sound like they're available here in the US.

these are the part numbers that i got from my local dealership when i was looking them up for forum members.
Trail Edition Running Boards:
Right Side: Part # 5177135200
Left Side: Part # 5177235170
99.9% sure but i would confirm with who you order from
Toyota Parts Cheap.com
this place has the best prices so far. havent ordered from them before though.

the TE running boards do have a pattern.
i'm not 100% sure but they are apparently the correct part numbers.
you should give the guys a call and ask. i'm overseas right now so cant do much more to help.

If those are the only two choices left, I'd go with the Salsa Red. I didn't like it based on the web pictures, but then I saw it in person. I'm glad they didn't have a blue one sitting next to a red one or I would still be trying to decide between the two.

it's entirely subjective, of course, but... my 2006 was galactic grey; my 2010 is salsa red. no contest, frankly: i love the salsa red. it's absolutely luminous, but certainly shows the dirt more than the grey. something to consider.
i still see my 2006 from time to time (family member bought it) and i've never felt even the slightest twinge of regret. good luck with your decision. you'll be happy either way.
