Any Magnetic Grey TE

After a few months with your magnetic gray 4 runners are you still happy with the color choice or has the gray become dull looking. Trying to decide between the salsa red and the gray in the trail model.

I have a Mag Grey Trail on order. Stealthy IMO. I love grey/black everything - watches, guns, knives, etc. So for me the choice was easy. I have seen the Salsa Red and it is probably my second favorite. I don't like the others for various reasons, but like everyone is saying, it is all subjective.

it's entirely subjective, of course, but... my 2006 was magnetic grey; my 2010 is salsa red. no contest, frankly: i love the salsa red. it's absolutely luminous, but certainly shows the dirt more than the grey. something to consider.

i still see my 2006 from time to time (family member bought it) and i've never felt even the slightest twinge of regret. good luck with your decision. you'll be happy either way.

Galactic Gray (blueish gray) or Shadow Mica (dark gray with a light brownish hue and lots of metallic flakes and color shifts)?

Magnetic Gray wasn't offered on the 4th gens. I think Magnetic is a new color beginning in 2007 with the Camry first and then new generation redesigns.

whoops! you are totally correct, Uneek. it was galactic grey, of course. :nerd:

somewhere along the line galactic had morphed into magnetic in my mind. probably because, in a pinch, i think i'd used magnetic grey touch-up paint to mend a small, innocuous paint chip — it was a close enough match.

Mag gray Trail

Finally decided on the salsa red pearl vs the mag gray. We were lucky to find both colors on the same lot, a rarity in northeastern Ohio. The MSRP was $40880 with KDSS navi and mats. After haggling got the price down to $37500. Out the door price was $40250. Tru Car lists invoice at $37500 and Edmunds at $36863. Not sure who to believe but the salesman said the dealers cost was $37500. We really liked the mag gray but in the end we chose the red . I liked the black and red contrast a little better than the gray and black trim. Thanks for all of your comments.

Got mine 2 weeks ago, only mod so far is to tint every window. Need to get floor liners before I take it dove hunting / shooting in Yuma Az.

PITA to find in So Cal, no sat nav offered here in this trim. The color hides dirt since I plan on washing this about once a year just like my Tundra Crew Max whether it needs it or not.
