I’m in Westlake.

I owned an operated Overland Warehouse out of my house in Agoura Hills for several years.

My 04 is heavily modified and I can lead vehicles on multiple trails from Pismo, Los Padres, Big Bear, Anza Borrego, Sierras etc.

I would like to suggest we at least try to gather just for a meetup to see what everyone is running. This would help planning future trips. I also know unless someone throws out a date then nothing really happens. So let me see what I can do but maybe a meetup at a Toyota Dealership woukd be fun. Or a local workshop. Always good to network right.

I’ll come back with a date ASAP.

How would Saturday Dec 16th work for you guys in Ventura County and nearby counties?

If I get a few expressions of interest then I’ll make a new thread and speak to a couple dealerships, accessories stores, workshops and arrange a meetup.
(If we meetup like this we might be able to swing some freebies from whomever hosts us.)

I could also get some coverage in a local paper to get “our group” some exposure to those who might not be on this forum. More the better right!?

your loss. have you ever been to one of their events? every kind of instagram famous overlinder celeb and vendor will be there with their identically modded trucks to look at and hashtag. and then the simpletons with their bilsteins and eibachs with "just" a roof rack will be there, drooling over trucks like [MENTION=128841]Spenny[/MENTION] 's but too nervous to ask for a photo with him because he is too fuxking handsome and frustratingly aloof. fuel the vets, the hurricane thing at karl strauss, they just keep getting bigger and this toy drive will be huge. HB and ventura are a measly two hours apart.

1. meet your bros and broettes at trader joe's in the AM and head down together. see who gets the best MPG
2. network so hard.

Thanks for the check in. It's been a very long Month. The family and I are doin well. We were evacuated for a week. The fire came within 20 feet of our property.

We drove up by rose valley on Sunday as well. It's a very different landscape.

Ok, Ive been lurking for a while. Picking up my '18 OR premium next week and already spent a few thousand in my head on upgrades. Live in SB and called a few shops and everyone is scared of KDSS which doesnt give me any hope for other upgrades. Any body recommend a shop in SB or Ventura? Thanks

Try giving Mercenary Off-road a call.

What upgrades are you planning on doing? What are your concerns about messing with KDSS?

I have KDSS on my 4Runner and have a 3 inch lift and haven’t had any issues like a so called “lean.” That most seem to complain about. No adjustments of any kind needed or warning lights coming on.

Don’t be afraid to mess with your 4Runner, suspension work is easy, just get a set of big ass pry bars and anything is possible :thumb3:

Thanks for the recommendation. If everyplace runs scared of the KDSS I might just have to do it myself. Just planning on a lift, tires, etc...

There's nothing to be worried about installing a lift with KDSS. Use to install our Overland Warehouse kits on KDSS all the time. Have an install party and everyone can rally around...
