Checking in: from Moorpark. Glad to have found a page like this for SoCal. Nice to see so many of us out here. Looks like I just missed a meet. I'm down for meet ups, trail runs, camping, etc. I just took my brother and his f150 thru Rowher flats yesterday, but we spend a lot of time in Gorman and Frazier as well. Last month, I took a group of friends to Rowher while it was snowing (awesome) and of the 4 vehicle team, 2 4th gen and 2 Disco2s, the 4th gens made it thru mud and snow no problem...discos, not so much lol.

Damn it! I completely missed this? Did it happen? I would so have been there with the Mrs. I took her to Mussel Shoals on one of our first couple of dates! Can we arrange another?

Gen 5 Limited Front End Swap
Hi to all the Ventura County / SB peeps!
Has anyone in the area swapped out a 5th Gen Limited front bumper/grill with the SR5/Trail/TRD Pro? If so, I could definitely use a hand or two with the swap.
Any help / suggestions would be welcome!

Haven't actually done this particular job before. However I bring with me 15+ years of mechanical experience, and tools that go with it, and the know-how to use them. Swapping one OEM part for another doesn't strike me as incredibly difficult, I've done all the work on my 4runner since I've owned it, as I have with my previous vehicles.

Fellow Moorparkian! What's your schedule? Maybe we can convince a small contingency to meet in our town. There's a few of us in TO, Camarillo etc. Taquiera Jalisco off of Tierra Rejada is a great stop unless someone has a nice driveway to volunteer. Who is in?

Is that place any good? Lol me and the gal always go to Gutierrez next to the donut shop on la ave. Though I think for a meet, Grinder deli and sports bar has room and parking. My schedule usually favors weekends. Though if it's in VC, I may he a little more flexible.
