I nearly forgot about this forum but yah I'm a newb that wants the 4Runner one day...

I have a better chance of getting my dad to trade in our dead Camry for future 4Runner Limited or the RX350 than me getting one myself.

But here's the kicker... I am probably by far the youngest person on this board. I am 15 years and 364 days old. 16 tomorrow Of course, with Jersey law, permit @ 16 and license @ 17.

bout the brush guard...i have one that is just in front...comes up over the grill...so it isnt too big...and wont hit the fenders...not a big problem washin it either...and it isnt one of those chrome safari bars that cover the bottom of the front bumper...this thing is a beast...would show a pic...but it is in Utah right now...waitin for me to pick up in june...

I'm with you on this one...I'm 23 and just traded in my 05 Mustang GT for the 06 4Runner SE 4x4. I don't regret it one bit yet. The 4R is a lot more practical vehicle for every day use.

23, just bought mine a month ago... Mustang is still sitting in the driveway, have a crap ton of stuff to uninstall before I am willing to sell it. But I would say I don't think anyone ever referred to my 4Runner as a family car. I might have to smack them if they said that.

i'm turning 16 in july, but i waited until september to get my permit so I have a few months of gas-free income for parts

put a real set of wheels and tires on there, it will make it look a million times better, dual exhaust is more annoying than fun, and if you ever try to come home after curfew or sneak out (not that im advocating either one) everyone in the neighborhood will know. other than that, i would focus on the interior, cause the exterior seems like its in good shape, welcome to the forum
