im 22 here. just got my 4runner 2 days ago and i love it. much nicer than any other car i've owned. my focus got good gas but no fun. i had a 400hp trans am that got me in too much trouble. i had the trans am 5 years and focus 2, sold both to get the 4runner and it was a great decision

I'm 20 years old, running 21 next may.
Had 5 4runners for the last 2 years. One 1st gen and 4 2nd gen. 33s to 38/44s.
Nice and "almost" pretty tough vehicles. The seats might be abit taller, but that's just because I'm big and fat. More of a user problem I guess.

I'm 18....turning 19 in 2 weeks.
I've been in my four runner for all of those years except one. My parents bought the car in '88 and it was driven everywhere. The only year I wasn't in it was when they both got new cars in ~2000... They kept using it for a while and then let it sit until I started driving it when I got my license.

Im 18 now and in my first year of college at CU Boulder. I have a 96 which I bought 2 months before my 16th birthday (although my parents payed for half). Got a 2.5 inch lift for x-mas my junior year of high school and have been loving my 4runner since the day i got her. and i've put 50,000 miles on her.

edit: I'm 21. I got my 4Runner about 10 months ago when I was still 20. Modding has been slow, due to baby and fiance in nursing school, but next year it should get a little more love.
I am not as much of a young gun as many here but I am indeed on the younger side 25, but I get the goodness of the discount on my insurance. My runner is on order an 08 limited and I am throwing almost every option toyota has on it.... why not. Also have a tacoma which is the toy for now. Runner gets 2 years of road then it becomes the new toy!

I didn't bust my ass for my ride, I thank my mother for doing it for me. I also thank her for paying my insurance and gasoline. You can say I'm spoiled, in some ways I am, as I am not. I could of asked for a brand new loaded Mini Cooper S like my sister did, but I wouldn't take advantage of my mother like that. I didn't have as much respect to the T4R as much I do now. Now I couldn't be any happier for a first car. I admit I drove like a dumbass when I first started driving on my own. Now I drive slower than these Soccer moms in there Caravans
. If I have the need for speed I'll take the Supra or the Coop for a drive

I agree you should get some decent wheels (even higher quality stock wheels would look good) and some badass tires. Also if you pick up some chrome trim to go around the wheel wells it will make your truck look even doper
