Any Portland, OR mechanic recommendations?

I've been taking my Corolla to a guy I like in Portland with reasonable rates but he's more of a "do enough to keep it on the road" kind of mechanic. I'm looking for a Toyota or Japanese shop that leans "enthusiast" and is more particular. Anyone have a shop they like in my area?

I use Chris at Paragon Automotive in Tualatin. He isnt the cheapest but he makes sure things are done correctly. No jimmy rigs or half ass jobs. Ive never left there unsatisfied. But he doesnt focus on just Toyota's or Japanese vehicles if that is a deal breaker for you.

Not sure how far away from him you are but thats who i recommend for a overall mechanic.

I’ve taken my 2000 4Runner to both Everett Street Autoworks in the Pearl District and Erickson’s Automotive in Lake Oswego. I prefer Erickson’s. Prices are better and I feel comfortable they are doing solid work. Neither are Toyota specialist though.
