Any rust issues yet?

OK so my 4runner got banished from the garage to the outside since last January (since the 06 vette took that spot).

I am curious if any 4th gen 4runners have seen any rust yet? I have not, as a matter of fact, I am pleased with the 4runner. By this time, (at 3 years old) my Durango had a bunch of oxidation dots. The 4runner cleans up very well - kudos to Toyota. Am I the only one? The inside of my hitch has some surface rust, but thats expected.


BTW - I live around Chicago, so some consider this snow belt. At least salt belt.

I myself are a town over from you ToyotaDan, the FRG. But no i have not, our 4runner is perect and our '95 Celica has no rust except for where the paint got chipped off from something unkown, which i need to get fixed. The only "rust" i am seeing so far is on the hitch. But overall i am rally pleased with our yotas.

I'm in Toronto, Canada. The winter here is very "salty". No rust so far. My previous truck (Montero) was 3 yrs. old at the time of trading it in didn't had any rust. I saw my ex truck last week, still looking good.
