Any suggestions for rear bumpers for 2nd Gens?

My 2nd gen got rear-ended by a Nissan Titan like 4 months ago. I had to take my rear bumper off because it was totally unusable. I've been looking since then and the only company I could find that readily makes them is LC Engineering. For context, I cannot fabricate and I don't need the heaviest rock armor available. Something like the pic related.

I don't think LC makes that one, they get it from another vendor.
I like that one and it's not too expensive. There are a few options out there. 4x4 innovations is one brand. Probably my favorite is this one. Pricey though.

The rock defense bumper you show is made by trail-gear. Several vendors sell them.
I am running that rear bumper on my truck. It is functional.

4xlabs is my favorite as well - I like that the design covers up the ugly lower fender bits and has tons of options that you can burn money on also.

I am running the trail-gear wrap around as well, and it works well for how cheap it is, I especially like the use of it as a rear step when crawling around the roof. Heavy, good tow points, economical and good protection with an in an increase in approach angles. Downside is no swing-away tire gate available.

The search on this site won't work for me, so have any of you seen a wrap around bumper for sale used?

Do you know a place other than this site or craigslist that will likely have either of these for sale used?

I can tell you for sure that a 1st Gen bumper will not fit, at least not without some major mods done. I'd be inclined to think the same goes with the Taco bumper as well.

I'd go with the Trail Gear Rock Defender. I just put one on my 1st Gen---fits like a glove, and looks great as well.

I figured out I may have been asking the wrong question. Wikipedia says I should be asking about a 1990 Toyota Pickup instead of a Tacoma.

Is there a way I could see if the bumpers attach in the same ways?

They aren't...period. Trust me; I'm a 17-year shop-counter parts guy for a Toyota dealership.

As far as a used TG bumper, maybe Ebay or Craigslist; albeit I doubt it. Most guys buy these for their crawlers; so a used one would be smashed up more than likely. You may have to just save some coin and buy a new one. It'll need to be painted as well. I had mine rhino-coated.

I mostly just want to keep her respectable looking at a quick glance because sometimes I have to sleep in places where people get curious if there is a complete beater about.

I figured out that Tacoma is the wrong model and I should have been saying Pickup or Hilux; I assumed Tacoma was always the name.

The rock defender bumper is sold through trailgear, and the Toyota pickup/hilux mounts for said bumper are not immediately compatible with the second generation 4runners/surfs. There is a body mount that needs to be clearanced on both sides, as well as some frame surface trimming.

I assume that the TG 4Runner bumper bolts right up.

I had a Marlin Crawler rear bumper and it held up very well. Not sure they have any in stock now.
