Here's my 04 taco trd 4x4. All stock and not running now, but for the $500.00 i paid it's gonna be a fun winter project! Sorry for the pics, but for some reason i have to crop/edit my pics. Whitetoytaco i like that fr. bumper, nice lookin' rig.

$500!!!??? that is in really great shape! if you fix her up she will be a great truck. how many miles? why isnt she running?

PO ran it low on oil, due to a leaking oil filter, and seized and broke one of the camshafts which also broke the T-belt. It only has 147k miles. After the holidays i'm pullin' the engine and sending it off to my local machine shop for a bottom end rebuild. I located complete ready to bolt on re-manned heads for $400.00 each, but i'm still pricing around for them. I like the look of your truck, after i get her up and runnin' i hope to build a truck simliar to yours.

I just got this one a couple weeks ago. 2002 4x4, TRD with E-Locker. Taking it to the dealer Monday for a new timing belt and water pump and besides my old fully locked FJ80 Land Cruiser, I think this will be one of my favorite 4x4's I've ever had.

this is my 08 taco sr5 v6 6spd i just sold recently to put a down payment on a house. It had a 6 in fabtech lift with 20 in helo wheels and 35 12.50s. I already miss it but i love my 4runner as its easier to work on, less expensive to fix and a little easier on the insurance too.

i guarantee you will love this 4x4. small, light, good power, good looks, and that locker will get you many places as you know with your FJ.

it saw some mild wheeling but it was my daily and i didnt want to break it so i didnt go too hard on it. mainly just took it camping and fishing

I dyno'd it at 9 lbs, no meth or nitrous and it put down 260wrhp and 280ftlbs. Haven't seen a dyno'd since I bumped it to 15 but I gotta think its hitting 300?

All work besides leather and moonroof done by me in my driveway.

cool. just curious how the drop bracket lift worked, ive always heard there not worth the money for hardcore wheeling

Depends on your definition of good off road is? No IFS is great off road and nearly every single torsion sprung IFS rig uses drop brackets to lift it along with coil sprung full size rigs like Silverado, Ram, even Tundra.

It is the traditional way to lift an IFS rig I was very surprised no one makes one for the 4Runner when I first started looking for lifts.

Thanks man. I stopped messing with the Taco for a while when I got the 4runner, but it is never ending.

That pickup is pimp as hell, and it has a hell of a driver. I love wheelin' with him.

yea thats why im glad i dont have torsion springs. thats interesting about not making one for 4runners, i wonder why

duuude Moab is the bees knees. i went there for TACO takeover (giant tacomaworld wheeling meet) and its crazy how many awesome trails there were.

plus the west (specifically southwest) has so much open space with dirt and rocks to play on. i spent this past summer in Durhamn, NC and there is just too many trees out there, and people. i was trying to describe how you can see for like 80 miles when driving around the SW states and they couldnt imagine it lol

hot sauce? im assuming its boost since i can see the intercooler but not sure
