My idler arm is about to go and I was looking on eBay and I can get a kit for around $100.00 with tie rod ends idler arm, pitman arm, and upper and lower ball joints. Sounds good to me but I haven't really bought anything off eBay so I was wondering if anyone has or has some better advice. Thanks.

Buy Moog from Rockauto.com. It will cost a little more, but you are getting a better product.

If it comes with all that for $100, I would think it was probably not the greatest quality. That being said, my advice; if you do any wheeling buy 2 and put the spare in your truck somewhere.

Yo can rebuild yours for a few bucks. Why replace all that other syuff too if it doesn't need it?
And $100 seems to cheap for parts with any quality.

I just fixed my idler arm a couple weeks ago by replacing the bushings. I followed this guide:

It was fairly easy, just make sure you get the right part numbers. It took me four hours of going through all the stages of grief to figure out they gave me the wrong bushings. Once I got the right ones it took about fifteeb minutes to get everything assembled again

I wheel when I can, could just do the idler arm but for the price I figure iWork's have some extra stuff. While I'm on here was wondering if there is anything I should prep for when replacing the rear output shaft seal? Other than just having to remove the drive shaft.

Or you can buy 4 in a week like Helo did. One hell of a week though.
