Any Walker Muffler experience?

I didn't see anything recent on here but I'm about to pull the trigger on a new exhaust that's rusddet out and went with a Walker Quietflow SS muffler & tailpipe and I wanted to know if anyone has any expereince with them. AAP has them for 30% off until 4/12 , free shipping and I have a $25 loyalty coupon so I'm getting the muffler, tailpape, bolt kit and gaskets out the door for about $250 and a local garage figures about 1 hr labor to put it all up there. There is nothing much local (AZ, AAP, Pep & NAPA) and I wanted am OEM replacement (and OEM is $850!!). So, anyone running a Walker out there?

Yes, I ran/run that muffler and tailpipe. It does sound very close to stock. The first Walker muffler went bad (baffle came loose inside, causing a rattle). But, it was under warranty and the second one has been good for some time now. The tailpipe lasted a few years before it broke at the first big bend behind the muffler section. I decided to replace that with OEM. Overall, I am happy with the Walker muffler (vs cost of OEM), but the OEM tailpipe is worth it, IMO.

I have no long-term experience with them, but like the OP I also recently installed the Walker Quiet-Flow SS muffler (with attached extension pipe) and tail pipe.

My OEM exhaust system finally succumbed to the ravages of rust (from all the road salt they put on our roadways in the winter) and was getting a little loud.

The independent garage that I now go to for all of my service needs recommended the Walker system for ease of installation (direct fit) and quality. Install time was about 1.5 hours (at a decent labour rate I might add).

No way I was putting a Toyota OEM system back on (too costly for me) or have my local Toyota dealership work on it (labour rate way too high).

I replaced just the muffler on my jeep about three years ago with a walker unit. Holding up just fine after Chicago winters so far.
