Custom painted Spruce Mica, a newer Toyota color. Original color was Imperial Jade Mica--inside the door frames and the door jambs are still jade-colored, but you would just think it was faded paint if you weren't looking for a different color.
I'd be interested to see what other custom color schemes people have going on out there on their rigs.

First modification for the 4Runner (by Metal Tech), persimmon orange. A factory FJ55 Land Cruiser color found in 1973 and commonly used in Argentina for the 80 series.The truck has been professionally painted retro Toyota 1972 Orange, T-308 paint color. Painted may 08,2012. The roof, door jams and under the hood is all black for a true custom show look.

That's interesting--was that an actual active municipal emergency vehicle? Or just some sort of private one-off?

Here's mine, but it's going to be redone. The stuff I used sucks balls.
It's been like that for a year, and is chipping and everything.
The rims have been painted for 3 years, and not one single thing is wrong with them.
It has a cool Mad Max look to it. Is that steel mesh on the rear side window or diamond plate?

I laid her over about a year ago, and everywhere I called said 400+ for a new one.
Started talking to a guy at the body shop about using some 18ga on both back windows so people can't see and steal my stuff, and he suggested diamond plate.
I was like "WTF. Why not?"

I'm eventually going to Plasti-dip my entire Runner but for now I'm going to plasti-dip the roof black next week. Will post pics.

I love Spruce Mica - it's my favorite Toyota color. I have a black '14 SR5 with tan Softex, and I think it would look great in Spruce. Nice looking truck.

Nice, thanks--do they make the 5th Gen in Spruce Mica? I feel like I've never seen it if they do, but I've definitely seen it on Tundras and Tacomas.

Unfortunately, no. Spruce and Pyrite Mica are offered on the Tacoma and Rav4, as well as the older Tundra. I'm hoping Toyota will offer Spruce in the next couple of years since they broke out a bunch of new colors this year (Nautical Blue, Barcelona Red, Attitude Black and Super White).
