Anybody familar with Compustar alarms?

Looking at the front page of this forum, it's flooded with keyless entry/alarm problems and questions.

I'm having trouble setting my alarm to have the horn and lights blink when I set it. It seems that it's on mute right now. Unfortunately I don't have a manual nor do I know the model of the alarm.

Does anybody know how to turn mute off on these alarms?

which system did you put in, i just had one put in and it came with two remotes.if it has the lcd remote press 1 & 2 for a half sec and if it's the other, top two buttons for a half second

i would start by emailing them w/ your model number and asking for a manual

well look on the remote, it tells you, on the back should have some sort of options.

then you can always use the dealer locater and find someone that can help out.

I purchased the vehicle with this alarm on it already.

As for modding, this truck will stay relatively stock as my M3 is what my modding money goes towards.

I just looked on the back of my remote and found R500A as the model # for the alarm. Thanks for the helpful responses. I hope I can find out how to get this to work!
