hey guys, rchavez1 is right...i will need a head count. and we still need to decide if we want to do anything after pictures. i wish i could take a trip up to geneva, how far is it? i will get you all directions to loyola by thursday.

Not Gonna Make It....
Well guys,
I just got out of court and I received a 6 month suspension of my license. So needless to say I will not be able to make it. Sucks a ton, but what am I gonna do. I guess this gives me some time to do some body work. Hopefully you all have a great time and I will look forward to seeing pictures. Maybey I will make the next one, hopefully we can do some off roadin'.

hey guys, bad news.....we can't use the garage because the sergeant will not be there for thanksgiving weekend. so he can't authorize for the gates to be opened for us because another person will be working there, whom i don't know. sorry! but we can still meet and take pictures elsewhere, like at the lakefront or something. so far it looks like.....

No problem. Place doesn't matter. It's not your fault. Lake is also good idea but do You maybe know any place with a nice view? I'm still thinking and only place with a big parking lot I know is Montrose Beach. However I'm sure there must be better place than that...

lake is fine with me guys, city or suburb. Oh by the way where are most of the guys coming from, I'm coming from the suburb (north). I'm thinking if we're coming from the suburbs maybe (just maybe) we could just meet at the lakefront out in any suburb.

I'm coming from northwest side of Chicago and it doesn't matter to me where we meet. If anyone know nice place by the lake just let us know and than we can decide if it is good for everyone.
Only 5 days left....... and we still don't know where we'll meet.

i'm also coming from the northwest side....and i'm hoping we do meet. to me, place doesn't matter either as long as it's no more than about an hour drive. we can meet at montrose beach and fine a nice spot along the lakefront to take photos. who has a nice quality digital camera that they can bring?
btw, i think a suburban beach would be nicer because maybe we can park closer to the lake? and it may be less crowded.

Big time Regrets...
I'm sorry that I will not be able to make Saturday's group meeting. Because of the storm earlier this week, some close friends lost alot of food because of a power outage in southern illinois. They drove up for Thanksgiving. For me, i'm glad to help out being close friends and all, the flip side is that i was really looking forward to meeting up with fellow 4runner fans.
Bummer.....

Now it looks like there are 3 of us left. However I don't see any posts with proposition of place for a meet and I don't want to alarm any of You but we supposed to meet tomorrow. Lake, hot-dogs it's all good for me.
Are You still interested in this meet? If so please post something today so We could make some plans for tomorrow.

I hope that some of guys who can't come tomorrow would be able to come next Sat. However we should set that day and place few days before meet so everyone can make plans and can be sure its not going to change. It isn't good when we get to the point where on Friday we don't know where we should meet next day.
I think everyone who wants to meet should post if You are able to meet next Saturday Dec 4 around noon and also name place. Place is very important because it is going to be easy find something in the middle of everyone whose coming.

I'll come and we could meet by the lake (Montrose Beach), in one of the Chicago's parks ( some of them have nice, big parking lots for example Shiller Woods Forest Preserve by Irving Park/Cumberland in Norridge) or even @ Gene & Jude's (rated 4 grease stars!) .:yummie:
All these places are close to where I live so that’s why I suggest them.

i can't meet next saturday, but i'm game for sunday. then again...that's when the bears play and i'm under 21! so no sports hubs for me......

Saturday or Sunday next weekend is good for me, anywhere too is okey with me Lake or Forest Preserve. I am still off for another 2 weeks.
It sucks it's gonna rain tomorrow I won't be able to stay out much ,still have the special post op shoe and dressing on my foot ( supposed to come off next week Saturday) .
Anyways , post early when, definitely it's gonna be and just put address of the meet. Any one who objects to the place or date should put an alternate proposal.

Hey Dudes, Hope y'all had a nice Holiday. I'ts probably going to be a little nuts between now and the end of the year with the holiday coming up and all. Don't get me wrong, I wish we could sooner much rather than later.
I'm in Des Plaines which is fairly close to Downtown Chicago,
10 minutes from Gene & Judes, and pretty much within reasonable distance for anywhere we decide. i guess it's just a matter of picking a suitable location, then picking a 1st choice date and a "rain date" just in case.
