Anybody have some bodywork experience? Need opinions.

Hey everyone,

As some of you may know I hit a tree before Christmas when I was out wheeling. The weather has been decent so I got motivated and pulled the crunched door off and put on my "spare." The black door came off of my parts truck that had a front end collision but I'm not sure of the history of the vehicle other than that.

I am ready to get the door painted but I thought I would mount the black door just to make sure there was no alignment issues. As you can see from the photos below, the black door does not fit all that well IMO. I have ZERO experience with body panels and/or bodywork and I'm wondering if anyone out there does? Are these gaps a small issue? Is it any easy fix to get the door bent or twisted so it lines up better? If not, I'll be scrapping the door and trying to go a different route. Thanks for you help!!

The gap increases along the bottom: starts off good and bends closer towards the interior as you move along towards the rear of the vehicle:

You should be able to adjust the hinges where they attach to the door to get it pulled out at the bottom and in at the top.

The hinges should have some play to adjust them. Can you post a pic of the door straight on? The door will require a bit of play to get it to fit right and maintain an even gap.

Yah the gap up front between the front fender and the door is pretty much perfect. I'm fearing the worst, that I may have pushed my B-pillar in slightly when the tree attacked my truck. I need to dig up some photos of it against the tree.....
