Anybody runnin 265/75/16's with a lift?

If I lift (3") and don't buy new tires soon, will it look OK? Pics anyone??

It'll look fine, but it'll look better with some 285/75s or 255/85s. I ran mine with 265s for a month or so before I got new tires, but can't seem to find any pics at the moment.

also this might be kind of a newb question but when people say they have 285's is that 285/70 or 285/75 or what?

You dont have to regear for 285's with a K&N CAI I have almost all the power I had before,

you would have to go up to a 35" tire before you "have" to regear.

and then you would need more than 3" of lift

I have 265's with a 2.5 suspension and 1.5 body lifts. I am having a custom bumper put on it and hope to get it back tomorrow night. I will post pictures of the tires with the lift, and new bumper. My plan though is to go up to 285's, ....., that was the main purpose of the body lift.

265/70s are going to look pretty tiny with anything over a 1-1.5" lift IMO.
