Anyone a Uber/Lyft Driver?

Before you assault me, yes I understand the 4Runner is not fuel efficient. I get it, I still love my truck. But I have some down time between my normal job so I decided to kill some time and make a few $$$. Been fun so far and wondering any other drivers out there? Good/bad stories about it?

It's a blast seeing people's faces when I pick them up in a big SUV with the gobi rack/ladder, shcrockworks sliders, and trd rims. People are almost always excited to talk about my truck to me.

It doesn't hurt to try, dont expect too much $$ out of it though... a lot will be going towards your gas.

I'd consider it if I got more than 17.8 mpg on average and didn't live in Los Angeles. Oh, and if I didn't care about drunk people puking in my truck.

lol I only let the warden and the kids in because I am married/fathered them, otherwise I drive alone for a reason

If you get up early in the morning on a weekday, or Friday and Saturday evening during surge times you can make a decent amount of cash in a few hours. I did it a few times in my last car. Have not got set up with my 4Runner yet though, but definitely plan on doing it again.

This. Being related to people that did a lot of taxi/limo jobs, it is no exaggeration.

Ya I only drive in morning. No one pukes in my 4Runner! So far it's fun. Haven't been able to get any surge rides yet. But I make an extra $150-250 a week. Gets me out of bed and off the couch on those free days. Once I get the lift and BFG KO'2 on then my uber career will be over.
