anyone change out their radio and speakers?

my 04 SR5 has the JBL synthesis ETR/Cass/CD w/10 speakers and rear seat audio w/remote wireless. I dont think it sounds all that great. And I wonder why anyone puts cassette players in cars anymore ??

I was looking at the speaker locations in the doors. I'm guessing the whole door panel will have to be removed to get to the speakers. Theres a speaker in the middle of the dash...will the cover pop off? What brand of speakers come in the 4runners?

Anyone ever replace the radio and speakers with an aftermarket system?

I have the SR5 with no upgraded stereo but am looking on what to get... I dont have the same cutouts as you do so i think our options are different.. but i will let you know if i get anything... I hope someone posts something cuz im kinda clueless as to where to start also..
