Anyone derped a TE wheel like this?

Forgive my crappy retouch skills but has anyone tried this on their Trail Edition wheels? What are your thoughts? Might look best with the entire center cap derped too...

That actually doesn't look too bad, not sure if you'd want to keep the center cap Black or not. But looks pretty good.

I have seen them done on T4R and debated about doing it as a stop gap because it did look a lot better. I'd go all black for sure, personally.

[Edit] Oh, I just realized you were talking about just blacking the spokes but keeping the machined surface exposed. I haven't seen that, no.

Version 2... Maybe I need to just mask it and do it and see what it looks like. Hard to tell from my botched photo editing skills! I like the idea of blacking out all the shiny areas on the surface and leaving the inside matte gray.
