Anyone doing periodic meet and greets?

there acutally are quite a few members in this area, but most don't visit this sub forum, I can think of atleast 7-8 members within 30 in of Chantilly, which is where our shop is.
While I don't have a 4 runner I would love to get out and wheel with you guys when im not on the water.
also check out Red Cloud off road park, its local and legal and has anumber of fun trails

I actually live down the road in South Riding and have driven by your shop but it was closed when i went to check it out. Just wanted to stop by even though i don't have nothing i need to get done yet. Should have a better reason later in the year when i purchase my suspension and tires. Still want to stop by sometime and check out any merchandise you guys might have in the shop. I am a complete nooblet when it comes to wheelin, but i want to get out more and hang with some good people that know what they are doing

Eh you can come by to say hi, but we dont really stock any merch. Hit up [MENTION=25914]jonesy[/MENTION]yy. Hes a local who has a 5th gen and goes wheeling/camping quite frequently and his Blog DIRTROADTRIP has a wealth of information that you will find helpful.

Well shit man... My wife and I ended up going yesterday morning. Got back yesterday afternoon. The trail was good though. A lot of water from the rainstorms and I didn't see a single other person out there.
The southern trailhead is off of Edinburg Gap Rd near Edinburg, VA. The northern trailhead is closer to Woodstock, VA. I usually start at the southern end. A good meeting place would be at Bo's Shell Station in Edinburg. There you can gas up, get snacks, and pick up a daily OHV permit ($5).

I probably won't be doing Peters Mill Run any time in the next few weeks. I've already gone twice in the last couple weeks. I would be down to try somewhere else in the GWNF though.
Were you on a stock setup? What are your thoughts on this as a beginner trail? Like the OP, I just got my new to me 4runner (2 weeks ago) and a noob to the scene, but looking to get my feet wet.

I haven't been anywhere else in GWNF, but I've seen pictures of Flagpole/Meadow Knob and that looks fun.

I have a small suspension lift with BFG MT's, but that doesn't really come into play at Peters Mill Run. I think it's a good beginner trail. I actually let me wife drive most of it and she thought it was pretty easy. If you have 4WD, you'll be good.
