this damn transmission drives me nuts! most annoying thing to me (my 07 did it also) sometimes it decides to stay in 4th gear, and wont go into 5th, if i slap it into "4" then to "D", it goes into 5th, but if i dont do that, it will stay in 4th for a good while, what is it waiting on? giving more throttle or less does no good. i think this is worse then the downhill downshift.
second thing is when i've gone to reverse to drive rather quickly, or when slightly rolling backward, the truck will hesitate and then slam into drive. this has only happened a few times, randomly, i see no pattern other then when i quickly throw it into drive rather than clicking through neutral then to drive. i saw someone else post about this as well, but didnt go into much detail.
on a better note, no rumble strip issue like in my 07...planning on changing fluid to help prevent this as well.
