Anyone Else Waiting for Their New 4Runner

Looks like I will be in the waiting game starting in the fall for a cement TRDP.

Well...

I just got off the phone with the Dealer. Order is confirmed but no VIN yet. I was told that delivery is expected before the end of the month. We'll see.

Hope for the best...expect the worst.
 
I got mine at the beginning of May,... I was going to get the TRD Pro but I might as well have waited for a 2017 model if I wanted the coveted unicorn 4Runner.

Anyways, I got the last non-KDSS Trail Premium in the state when I got mine. The earthquakes that happened in Japan really took production offline and the result is a longer wait for the vehicles.

By that I meant that I wasn't out the cost of a new vehicle or payment...

But since you asked, the dealership took my CC# for a $500 deposit but never processed a hold or debited my account. So in effect, we're operating on a good faith agreement.
 
Waiting...

So, last October I purchased my 2015 4Runner without much wait at all (kind of an impulse buy), After doing some research into this forum and digging around on the internet, I decided to contemplate trading mine in. While I was home in May I decided why not when my payment would pretty much be the same. So I traded her in and waited for my 2016 4Runner to come in with the options an upgrades I wanted, especially because I got everything covered under the Toyota warranty and couldn't be happier! So, why am I posting on this page, because my truck wasn't done being built until the day after I left the country for work, now I have pictures of here but don't get to pick her up from the dealership until October :( So I feel the whole waiting pain with you guys...
 
Got a call from the dealership today that my TRD Pro that was supposed to be here on June 21 is now not arriving until July 9.
 
Filled out paperwork today and they said truck is supposed to arrive by weekend. Dealer actually gave me a loaner until mine comes in- sold my Mercedes so needed transport. And had a nice conversation with the owner who was at his Toyota dealership today. I'll post a pic or 2 when I get it.

yup, same thing my dealer did
 
Today's update (after not hearing anything out of them in a while and me prodding them):
It arrive at the Port (Gulf States Toyota) on Monday and then it averages about 3-4 days to get to us.
