Hey all, first post since I dont even have mine yet. Ordered the Trail Premium in magnetic gray and I HATE this wait. Luckily I got this screenshot from the dealer but I dont want to bug him (or maybe I do once a week i mean its not like i'm not handing him $43k)
What is yalls opinion based on this and the fact i'm in VA.

Not really if that is OTD pricing with KDSS. If that is before TTL then yes I agree.

True enough. OTD pricing is useless to quote on these forums, as the huge disparities in taxes and licensing from state to state makes any comparison less than useless.
I make a motion to ban all forum price quotes that are anything but prior to taxes and licensing.

Hey guys, new to the forum, I also work for southeast Toyota, and we serve the southeast region of America. Not sure if y'all know but there has been a slow down with 4runners due to the natural disaster in Japan.

Lol I don't have that power, only office people can look up vins for accessories and parts. But I can look up part numbers if provided for quotes and let you know if you are getting marked up the booty anywhere else [emoji51]

Lol no offense taken, and sorry to hear that. We are generally really good with supplying our dealers with stock, but if the particular dealer you went too didn't have it they should have checked other dealers to have it shipped over for you.
I can't remember which earthquake or disaster. I just recall them saying there was a slow down with 4runners because of something in Japan. And as you know all 4runners come on boat from Japan so this affects all dealers across the US. Pair that with the hard to get Trd pro you need to have a lot of good karma to have enough luck to get it.

SO ordered my White TRD Pro on 6/7. It hit port on 7/29 and was told it will take 10 days to process and be delivered. Well not true! We are told it will arrive between 8/15 and 8/19 at the dealer. Lets just say one would think they could give me a definite since this is not a little toy even Amazon is spot on 95% of the time. The wait is killing me for sure but oh well.

Our company doesn't handle northeast dealers but Trd pro accessories need to be installed. Though I'm not sure what the handling time is but keep your fingers crossed. What was the price on your Trd pro if you don't mind me asking?

Well, the issue has been less of the dealer looking and more of SE Toyota marketing and package options. Here in AL there were zero KDSS vehicles and only a handful of TEP's however every TEP in the area is loaded up with this 'XP Package' which is not a package that belongs on a Trail. A Trail should not be loaded up with billet accessories and 20" tires.
So dilemma #1 is trying to find an all natural TEP
Dilemma #2 is KDSS as it seems in the SE region (or at least my local and state dealers) is never optioned out on allocated vehicles and when you ask you are given the 'RARE' speech followed by the 'adjusted market value addendum' talk.
So dealers do not want to stock it but they want to overcharge for it because they do not allocate them. And if the dealer looks at trading with another the dealer will most often want something similar and there's never something similar to trade for..because they don't stock it...to make it rare.
It's a vicious circle. LOL
So at this point you have two options. Luck upon a dealer who might have one but that vehicle is either the wrong color or loaded with 1k + in added dealer options OR order one and pray that what you've ordered is what you'll get.

I feel you. Sorry I can't give a straight forward answer as I only work as a production associate selling parts to dealers.
I would just order the one you want. I know the wait sucks but I would think it's better than blindly going out and hoping for one.
